about Katy Brown
Katy Brown is a brand and marketing strategist, and local entrepreneur, who has been responsible for creation, execution, and maintenance of marketing strategies for political campaigns, local businesses, and national brands; including Hershey's, Steve Case (founder of AOL), Allsteel, Randy’s Flooring, and many others. Katy is deeply involved in the community with her husband, Matt, and three children. She is Vice President of the Board of Directors for Neighborhood Centers of Johnson County, serves
on the Board of Directors for the Iowa City Public Library – Friends Foundation, and was on the Executive Committee for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Light the Night Walk 2015. Passion is in no short supply. Katy fundamentally believes that a good marketing strategy is the cornerstone for a successful, return on investment. Her skill set allows for the research, ideation, and creation of a plan that will compliment any level of business.
